SURVEY TO THE AUDIENCE

We are happy to announce our first survey that was made and delivered by all our partners related to an effective and innovative distance teaching system in the kindergarten. In this survey our participants explore the parent’s ideas and experiences about distance learning.

The current situation of covid19 has showed to the educational world, how much chaos and uncertainty have been involved when suddenly the kindergartens have not been able to accept children anymore. Starting from then, there was a lot of stress in both sides- teachers and parents. Internationally, the problem has been common. Moving from a standard regular teaching and children care to online world have been urgent issue for all partner institutions. Apart from this, the most of experience which has been used before in distance learning, it has been just indoor activities and there was no integration of indoors and outdoors activities in the system. Our participants of this project have found it very useful and necessary this type of integration into online curricula.

Our aim is to explore the parent’s perceptions about what distance learning is about, how it works, why it is important, if it worked the way they expected to, and if they would be kin in an outdoor distance learning experience for their children. This survey will contribute to create distance learning system which has been tested in the kindergarten and could be used internationally. It will help the partner kindergartens to get necessary information and tools for the parents to work at home with their children, to find a better way to communicate with them and define the role of
parents in distance learning. It will also help to find a balanced and a well-structured system in between outdoor and indoor activities.
