LITTLE INVENTORS

Little Inventors is a project of five kindergartens from North Macedonia, Denmark, Latvia, Turkey and Italy to develop the EU Commission's 2020 strategy

 

 

Little Inventors is a project of 5 kindergartens from North Macedonia, Denmark, Latvia, Turkey and Italy to develop the EU Commission strategy for 2020, which aims to improve the basic skills of the new generation for a better EU future. The basic skills needed in Science, Mathematics, Languages ​​and Technology need to be developed by transforming play activities into entertainment and entertainment.

As both practical and theoretical knowledge are important stages of learning, they must be combined to provide children witheffective learning at an early age. Since this is a kindergarten level project, there will be a basic level of activities. Children are our main target groups and therefore club activities will be transformed into plays to make their learning more enjoyable and memorable. Teachers will be the main stakeholders in the project.

 

OBJECTIVES

- Creating an active preschool environment inside and outside the classroom

- Providing holistic learning

- ICT Development, Children's Language and Digital Skills

- Developing children's interests through math, language, science, technology

- Improvement of self-confidence

 

 

 

 

EVENTS

The implementation of the project will be phased. Tasks will be common and specific.

1- Getting started (preparation)

2- The first transnational meeting in Denmark

3- First Level Short Term Teachers - 24 teachers will come to Breshia in North Macedonia for 7 days. Opening of SCIENCE CLUB Lab in February 2018

4- Second level of short term teachers - 24 teachers will go to Italy

5- 3rd exchange of short term teachers - 24 teachers will go to Latvia

6- 4th Teacher Exchange - 24 teachers going to Denmark

7- Second transnational meeting in Turkey

 

RESULTS AND IMPACTS

Through the project the five partners aim to create long-term, tangible and intangible outcomes and achieve the greatest possible impact as primary teachers to enhance the quality of education and improve our children's basic skills and ensure holistic learning as an Innovative Practice. The project website will provide an ongoing access to general information on project activities, progress and outcomes and will reinforce our collective impact with participants.
